What is ChartsMakers?

Browser-based chart tools for small datasets, statistics work, reports, and quick checks.

Why we built it

Sometimes you do not need a full spreadsheet or BI tool. You just need to paste a short dataset, check the shape, and save a chart that is readable enough for class, work, or a report. ChartsMakers is built for that smaller, everyday job.

It is especially useful for students working on statistics assignments, teachers making examples, and analysts who want a quick look before moving into a larger workflow.

What you can expect

ChartsMakers is designed for quick, clear chart making — not for replacing a full spreadsheet, statistics package, or business intelligence platform.

  • Simple inputs: paste values, CSV-style rows, or data copied from a spreadsheet.
  • Readable defaults: charts start with practical colors, spacing, and labels you can adjust.
  • Common chart rules: calculations follow widely used chart definitions, such as quartiles, outlier fences, binning, proportions, and trendlines where they apply.
  • Easy exports: save charts as PNG or PDF, with SVG available when the chart is rendered as vector graphics.

Editorial standards

Our guides are written and reviewed by the ChartsMakers Editorial Team. We check practical instructions against the chart tool itself and, when software-specific behavior matters, against official documentation from vendors or library maintainers.

We avoid giving statistical advice as if every dataset has the same answer. Where chart choice depends on sample size, outliers, grouping, or audience, the guide explains the trade-off instead of forcing one rule. See our Editorial Policy for source standards and correction process.

Chart types

Privacy

The data you paste, type, or upload into a chart tool is handled in your browser and is not sent to our servers. You do not need to create an account.

We may use basic site analytics to understand which pages people visit and whether the site is working well, but that does not include your chart data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
